We have demand for experienced NGO managers to work with organisations in developing communities from February 2014 and beyond, so register now to start the process.
Roles are generally longer term, ranging from one to two years, but we also have occasional short-term assignments for up to six months.
With at least three or four years’ experience of managing in the NGO sector (five years’ for short-term roles), you’ll have developed excellent problem solving, decision-making and training skills. You’ll also have solid programme and community based project management skills and good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation, strategic change and organisational development. Experience of issues around education, gender, international development and advocacy is useful.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll develop business plans and share your management skills to help improve vital services to poor communities. You’ll also support an organisation in managing a variety of programmes and projects.
Countries in which you could be working include Ghana, Zambia and Kenya.
