Surgeons

We need experienced surgeons to provide life-saving services and train local staff to continue their work.

Roles generally range from one to two years. You’ll be a registered surgeon with at least three years’ post-qualification surgical experience (ST2) (five years’ for short-term roles).

What you’ll be doing

As well as helping build the skills of your local counterparts, you’ll also be delivering frontline care. The list of countries in which you could be working includes Uganda, Malawi or Zambia.
