Social workers and social managers

We’re looking for experienced social workers to train and provide advice to service providers working in disability, mental health or HIV and AIDS.

Roles are generally longer term, ranging from one to two years, but we also have occasional short term assignments for up to six months.

You’ll need a degree in social science, as well as at least three years’ work experience (five years’ for short-term roles) and excellent project management, training and communication skills.

What you’ll be doing

Social services in the developing world are extremely stretched and often inaccessible to the most vulnerable people. By strengthening the capacity of community and government sponsored programmes or NGOs working in this field, you can help to extend these services to the people who need them the most.

You could be working in countries such as India, Ghana or Malawi.
