Volunteers needed in Nepal

Catastrophic earthquakes in Nepal on 25 April and 12 May have flattened hundreds of villages. More than 8,500 people have been killed and more than 18,000 injured.

VSO is working with local communities and partners to offer expertise and skills to support the rebuilding of Nepal.

Placements are likely to start between August 2015 and January 2016 and may last between 6 and 24 months.

How it works

VSO provides a comprehensive support package to all volunteers.

We’ll give you extensive training before your placement, as well as a financial package including a local living allowance, return flights, accommodation, and more.

To become a VSO volunteer, you need to have a professional qualification and at least two years of professional experience.

Even if you’re not available to volunteer, you can still help by spreading the word about these vacancies among your colleagues and friends, or support VSO Nepal in other ways.
