You’ve chosen your idea, now what?
The key is planning, planning, planning.
1. Think about the 4 W’s:
- What you are doing?
- When it will your event happen?
- Where will your event be held?
- Why you are doing it?
2. Work out how much you want to raise, and if it’ll cost you anything.
3. Shout out loud – how will you publicise the event? You can use the internet – Twitter, Facebook, Just Giving – they’re all great ways to get the word out.
4. Write a checklist and get your resources ready.
5. Be safe and legal.
