Employee Challenges

Since 2006, VSO has run over 20 treks with our corporate partners, raising over £2.5 million in the process.

We can work with you to deliver varied and exciting routes to employee engagement, tailored to your business. Get in touch with a member of our team.

Our challenge events are an excellent team-building opportunity and a great way to motivate your employees and make them feel at the heart of your corporate responsibility policy, as well as bringing colleagues together to develop skills outside the office.

Employees will also have the unique opportunity to visit a VSO project and see the work they’re helping to make possible.

VSO offers 17 different overseas challenge events including visits to VSO projects in Nepal, Tanzania, Peru, India, China and Cambodia. Our most popular overseas challenges include:

  • Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Here you will trek through five different eco-systems, and watch the sun rise over the African plains. With a total of seven days trekking and an epic ‘Summit Night’ this is a tough challenge, but also an achievable and enjoyable one.
  • The Machu Picchu trek in Peru. The chance to enjoy the unique and unspoilt alternative to the busy Inca trail, taking you through the winding Lares valleys surrounded  by the breathtaking scenery of the Peruvian Andes, finishing with a visit to the lost city of Machu Picchu.
  • Vietnam to Cambodia cycle. Pedal across these fascinating Asian cultures and witness local life and scenery
