Bespoke solutions for your business

Successful relationships with the corporate sector go beyond far beyond donations of money – the sector possesses great influence, business capability, access to networks and skilled labour. We look to harness all these resources, whilst drawing upon combined strengths and to create lasting change that is mutually beneficial.

World business leaders choose VSO as a partner

The corporate sector has a crucial part to play in our work.

VSO and Accenture have worked together for over a decade on the Making Markets Work for the Poor (MWWP) programme. This exists to deliver job skills training to approximately 22,300 poor and disadvantaged people in Nigeria, Cambodia, Tanzania and Malawi. The partnership is part of Accenture’s global corporate citizenship initiative, Skills to Succeed, whilst supporting VSO’s goal that everyone has access to a secure livelihood. Beyond funding it includes support to VSO through pro-bono consulting and volunteering services, including developing economic analyses, creating training curricula and coaching and mentoring programme staff.

VSO and Mondelez International (formerly Cadbury) have worked together since 2008 on the Cocoa Life programme partnership. This aims to secure the economic, social and environmental sustainability of around 1 million cocoa farmers in Ghana, India, Indonisia and the Caribbean.  As a result, Mondelez is establishing a more stable cocoa supply.

VSO and Randstad are celebrating over ten years working in partnership. The synergy between Randstad’s work placing candidates in exciting roles and VSO’s work placing candidates impactful volunteer placements means there’s huge added value for both partners. During the last decade Randstad has shared its recruitment expertise, over 150 of its employees have volunteered with our partners as well it contributing significant annual unrestricted funding.
